Marlow: this girl is just loving music and is a little star at clapping her hands along to it. ps. how cute is she in her little cowboy vest…
Thatcher: more birthday parties this week and there is no way this boy would complain about that – especially if strawberry milk is on the menu. and yes, i do have a slight obsession with bowties; luckily for me, thatch plays along and even likes to pic which one he is going to wear to all his events.
week 25/ the 52 project
marlow: baby’s first birthday party. and…. she loved every minute of it!
thatcher: this one loves a bit of birthday party action too, but what’s not to love – cake, treats, dancing, toys, singing and friends. winning.
week 24/ the 52 project
Marlow: she really isn’t baby anymore – i think we’ve officially entered toddlerhood. waaaa (actually, for me it’s more of a yay since i think toddlers are much more fun than babies anyway)….
Thatcher: my little sous chef. he just loves the kitchen and anytime there is some measuring or stirring to be done, i can count on mr t to jump right on in there and do and amazing(ly messy) job.
week 23/ the 52 project
thatcher: rod may have a bit of an unfair advantage in this wrestling match!
marlow: ‘you expect me to share my sandwich with a duck? you have got to be kidding’
week 22/ the 52 project
thatcher: what a sweet little boy mr t is – so so happy and such a caring and thoughtful soul.
marlow: she is really starting to get the hang of this new crawling thing and loving her new-found freedom.
week 21/the 52 project
thatcher: yay for the cupcakes. my boy and i had a free hour this week and what better way to spend than going on a mummy-thatchy date to the cupcake shop. we love sherbet bakehouse around here, and just as luck would have it, thatch got there just in time to score the last vanilla raspberry cupcake, his favourite!
marlow: this girl is just in awe of her big brother – she is his little shadow (albeit a shadow that has only just started crawling)
week 20/the 52 project.
thatcher: when all else fails, take the boy to the zoo…
marlow: future hockey-player in the making (or so daddy hopes, anyway)
week 18/the 52 project
thatcher: hey i heard you was a wild one… i don’t know who is wilder, the boy or the monster on his t-shirt
marlow: it is never too early to get a girl into fur (faux, of course)
week 16/the 52 project
marlow: ‘is there something in my hair?!?’ the poor girl can’t get even one second away from that brother of hers.
thatcher: it wouldn’t be an australian summer without water and i think this child was born with gills.
week 7 / the 52 project
thatcher: ‘i can see the giants.’ like all of perth, we went into the city on saturday afternoon to watch the giants as part of the perth international arts festival. thatch was in absolute awe of them.
marlow: those big blue eyes. ps. look how good i am at sitting up all by myself; i’ve been slowly perfecting this skill over the last few weeks. crawling, watch out, i’m coming for you…
week six / the 52 project
